Daniel Frank
Since his debut as Laca in Janáček's Jenufa at Malmö Opera in 2011, Daniel Frank has established himself as one of the leading heldentenors of our time with engagements all over the world.
Daniel had his international breakthrough in the 2012/2013 season, when he debuted in the title role of Tannhäuser at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf, a role he also performed again later that season in Colombia under the direction of Gustavo Dudamel. Daniel has since sung Tannhäuser with great success in Seoul, Leipzig, Stockholm, Prague, Bern and Hong Kong.
Among further engagements to be mentioned are the title roles of Peter Grimes and Lohengrin in Bern, Bacchus in Ariadne auf Naxos at Vienna State Opera, Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf, Gothenburg Opera and Nederlandse Reisoper; Paul in Die Tote Stadt at Nederlandse Reisoper and Wermland Opera, Florestan in Fidelio in Prague, Bologna and at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Tristan in Bern, Düsseldorf, Leipzig and Luxembourg, Siegmund in Die Walküre in Stockholm, Düsseldorf, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Dortmund and the Vienna State Opera, Siegfried (Siegfried) in Dortmund, Siegfried (Götterdämmerung) in Dortmund, Karlsruhe, Kassel and at the Vienna State Opera and Parsifal in Düsseldorf and at the Vienna State Opera.
