Norina Radovan

Soprano Norina Radovan studied at the Music Academies in Zagreb and Ljubljana. She has been a long-time permanent member and a distinguished opera soloist of the SNG Opera in balet Ljubljana (Slovenian National Theatre Opera and Ballet Ljubljana). During this period of time she created an enviable number of leading roles: Gilda (Rigoletto), Rosina (The Barber of Seville), Zerbinetta (Ariadna on Naxos), Olympia (The Tales of Hoffmann), Liù (Turandot) … She perfected her singing in Paris under Prof. Dupleix as well as under Prof. Kahry - Pedagogue and Dean at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna -, who is still her mentor.

She continued her opera and concert activities both at home and abroad with the finest orchestras and chamber casts. She appeared as a guest singer in numerous opera theatres, on concert stages and at international festivals (in Paris, Lisbon, Amsterdam, Budapest, Rotterdam, Vienna, Graz, Innsbruck, Rome, Trieste, Sarajevo, Zagreb, and Split). She has been also occasionally dedicating herself to other music genres – jazz, musical and chanson.
